1998, 1999

UC Berkeley had two art departments, the Visual Studies Department which was part of the College of Environmental Design and the Art Department in the College of Letters and Science. Our two buildings sat next to each other, so I was able to liberally partake in the offerings in both schools, studying drawing, performance art, as well as sculpture with endlessly energetic Joe Slusky.

Unfortunately, this was before the age of digital cameras, and I have minimal photographic documentation of the work.

Maybe it was better that way.
