GID Sovereign

2012
Ziegler Cooper Architects

The first building of a large redevelopment project, this high-rise apartment was intended to be a flagship project in the exclusive River Oaks neighborhood.

The project consisted of mid-rise apartments wrapped around a parking garage, with a generous 8th floor amenity area and a high-rise tower with views toward Downtown Houston.

I assisted in construction detailing and coordination when there was availability from my main project responsibilities.

Located a mile away from the Galleria shopping and commercial district, this project was centrally located between the Downtown Financial District and the Energy Corridor business district.

As a mixed use project, Gables Tanglewood injected high density, mid-rise apartment living with luxury amenities into an area of suburban houses and garden apartments.

I was the primary staff architect on this project starting at the beginning of Design Development through the first half of Construction Administration, when we moved to Las Vegas.

2011 to 2012

I was a staff architect in a the multifamily “Living Place” studio. My primary project was a 320 unit mid-rise apartment complex. I joined this project at the start of Design Development and produced the majority of the construction drawings. I was also the lead staff member for Construction Administration for the first half of the building process until we relocated to Las Vegas.
